Spray Arc Axial Force

The directed force effect of the plasma stream that accelerates molten droplets precisely toward the weld pool axis.

The spray arc generates an axial force via the plasma stream that accelerates droplets towards the weld pool. If the force is too high, the pool becomes agitated and you risk spatter, porosity, or an unstable weld. If it is too weak, the material drips off rather uncontrollably and the weld becomes irregular. Adjust the setting so that the transfer is calm and even, without the pool 'boiling'. Ultimately, you find the right setting by looking at the weld image – not by rigid specifications.
