Spray Arc Target Voltage

The specific voltage value located above the transition threshold that ensures a non-contact droplet transfer in the axial spray arc. Precise adjustment prevents turbulent droplet transfer and excessively high spatter rates.

The spray arc target voltage controls how the material transfer behaves. If it's set too high, the droplet transfer gets erratic and spatters more. The result is a dirty weld with more spatter and possibly pores.

Set the voltage so the arc burns calm and steady. If you get too much spatter, turn it down; if the transfer breaks or gets erratic, turn it up. In the end, what matters is that the weld looks clean and even.
