Web Plate

Vertically arranged connecting element in T- or I-beams integrated structurally via fillet welds on both sides.

The web plate is the vertical plate between the flanges of a beam. You weld it on both sides with fillet welds to the flanges. It's important that the plate sits clean and square before you lay the welds.
