Thermally Sprayed Coating

Surface protection applied by melting and propelling wire or powder materials via a thermal energy jet onto a pre-treated substrate surface. It serves as wear and corrosion barrier.

In thermal spraying, you melt the wire or powder with a hot jet and hurl it onto the surface. This creates a hard, dense layer that helps against wear and corrosion. If you don't guide the jet or movement cleanly, the layer becomes uneven or you damage the base material. Move calmly and evenly, check the layer in between, and adjust the parameters so it lies cleanly.
