Titanium welding rod

A high-purity filler material for joining titanium materials under the strict exclusion of oxygen and nitrogen. Impurities immediately lead to extreme embrittlement of the microstructure.

Titanium welding rod is filler material made of pure titanium. When welding titanium, you absolutely must prevent the hot weld pool from coming into contact with oxygen or nitrogen from the air. Otherwise, the material becomes brittle and the weld cracks. The rod itself must be absolutely clean; any contamination causes problems. So you need a clean environment and proper shielding gas coverage; that's all there is to it.
