Vision Supported Component Recognition

Vision-assisted part recognition uses cameras to identify parts on the pallet and transmit their positions to the robot controller. This enables flexible handling and welding processes in unstructured environments.

Physicochemical Mechanism of Action

Cameras capture visual data of the parts, which is then analyzed by software. The software recognizes shapes, colors and positions and calculates coordinates.

Metallurgical Relevance & Welding Risks

Accurate recognition of parts is crucial for correct handling and welding. Wrong recognition can lead to inaccurate positioning, which causes defects or cracks in the end product.

Workshop Practice & Instructions

Use high-resolution cameras and robust software for part recognition. Calibrate the camera regularly and check the recognition accuracy through test runs. Pay attention to even lighting and a clear background to improve recognition.
