Preliminary Welding Test
An internal company qualification test prior to the official welder approval test to validate the manual skill of welding personnel under real conditions.
The exam is a practical work sample under real conditions. You show that you master the common processes cleanly and use the tools correctly. Defects like pores or cracks usually arise from poor preparation or wrong settings – that is immediately noticeable in the exam. The examiner gives you specific tasks that you must deliver according to set quality criteria. It is important to work calmly and controlled and to follow the safety rules.
