Tungsten Carbide Network

Formation of hard tungsten carbides to extremely increase wear resistance under high thermal loads.

Tungsten carbide networks are really hard, wear-resistant structures that are embedded in a metal matrix. When welding, you have to be careful not to destroy this structure with too much heat – once the network has melted, you won't get the original hardness back. So keep the heat input as low as possible and let the component cool slowly and evenly to avoid cracks.
