Zirconiated Tungsten Electrode

A tungsten electrode specially developed for AC aluminum welding that exhibits stable ball formation at the tip.

Zirconiated tungsten electrodes are made for AC welding of aluminum. They handle higher current densities and are more stable than pure tungsten electrodes without contaminating the weld pool. The electrode forms a clean ball when switched on, which you don't have to regrind. Keep it clean and don't let the ball break off, then you'll have a stable arc and fewer defects in the weld bead.
