Consumable Drying Instruction

Dry your welding consumables before use if they have absorbed moisture. Moist material brings hydrogen into the weld, causing porosity and cracks. Just heat them in a drying oven or on a warm, clean surface until they are nicely dry. But don't overdo the heat, or you'll damage the coating and the consumable becomes useless. If material comes cold and damp from storage, let it come to room temperature before opening.
