EN-GJS-500-7 (GGG-50)

0.7050 (EN-GJS-500-7 (GGG-50)) is ductile [[glossary:kugelgraphit|iron]] ([[element:C|spheroidal graphite]]): tough and strong like some steel because the [[glossary:kugeln|carbon]] is present as nodules. Welding is possible, but [[glossary:vorwaermen|preheating]] is required. Typical analysis: 3.55 % C, 0.45 % Mn, 2.4 % Si.
