EN-GJS-700-2 (GGG-70)

0.7070 (EN-GJS-700-2 (GGG-70)) is ductile [[glossary:kugelgraphit|iron]] ([[element:C|spheroidal graphite]]): tough and strong like some steels because the [[glossary:kugeln|carbon]] is present as nodules. Welding is possible but requires [[glossary:vorwaermen|preheating]]. Typical composition: 3.35 % C, 0.8 % Mn, 2 % Si.
