GP240GH (GS-C25)

1.0619 (GP240GH (GS-C25)) is cast steel: cast steel with similar welding properties to rolled steel — depending on the grade, unalloyed or alloyed. Typical analysis: 0.2 % C, 0.15 % Cr, 0.8 % Mn, 0.15 % Ni, 0.4 % Si. For higher wear protection, three hard-facing options are available: S Fe 1 (martensitic, approx. 300–400 HB, machinable), S Fe 2 (wear-resistant and tough, approx. 50–55 HRC, conditionally machinable) and S Fe 15 (carbide-rich, approx. 55–65+ HRC, not machinable).
