1.2067

100Cr6

1.2067 (100Cr6) is a [[glossary:kaltarbeitsstahl|cold work tool steel]] with 1.0 % [[element:C|carbon]] and 1.5 % [[element:Cr|chromium]] — basically a bearing steel that's also used as a tool steel. It hardens all the way through, reaches 62–64 HRC after [[glossary:haerten|hardening]], and is tougher than the 12%-chromium steels. Use it for: gauges, cutting tools with light edge loads, small punches, bearing rings. Good all-around balance of [[glossary:haerte|hardness]], [[glossary:verschleissfestigkeit|wear resistance]], and [[glossary:zaehigkeit|toughness]].
