80CrV2

1.2235 (80CrV2) is a [[glossary:kaltarbeitsstahl|cold work tool steel]] with 0.8 % [[element:C|carbon]], [[element:Cr|chromium]], and [[element:V|vanadium]]. It's tougher than the ledeburitic grades, but less wear-resistant. Use: knife blades, woodworking tools, stamping dies, where [[glossary:zaehigkeit|toughness]] protects the edge from chipping.
