X36CrMo17

1.2316 (X36CrMo17) is a stainless [[glossary:kunststoffformenstahl|plastic mold steel]] with 17 % [[element:Cr|chromium]] and [[element:Mo|molybdenum]]. The high chromium content makes it [[glossary:korrosion|corrosion-resistant]] – it's used for molds that run with aggressive plastics (PVC, acidic media) or in humid environments. Pre-hardened to ~280–325 HB, good polishability.
