X100CrMoV5

1.2362 (X100CrMoV5) is a [[glossary:kaltarbeitsstahl|cold work tool steel]] with 1.0 % [[element:C|carbon]], 5 % [[element:Cr|chromium]], [[element:Mo|molybdenum]] and [[element:V|vanadium]]. It hardens in oil, warps little and is the classic for gauges, cutting tools and punches with high dimensional accuracy. Good polishability, good edge stability.
