32CrMoV12-28

1.2365 (32CrMoV12-28) is a [[glossary:warmarbeitsstahl|hot work tool steel]] with ~3 % [[element:Cr|chromium]] and a high [[element:Mo|molybdenum]] content. Its [[glossary:warmhaerte|hot hardness]] is below 1.2344, but it is tougher and less [[glossary:risse|crack]]-sensitive. Use: [[glossary:schmiedegesenk|forging dies]], [[glossary:druckguss|die casting]] molds for smaller runs, hot forming tools where [[glossary:zaehigkeit|toughness]] is more important than maximum hot [[glossary:haerte|hardness]].
