45NiCrMo16

1.2767 (45NiCrMo16) belongs to the nickel-alloyed group: about 4 % [[element:Ni|nickel]] gives it high [[glossary:haertbarkeit|hardenability]] and exceptional [[glossary:zaehigkeit|toughness]]. It's the material for highly stressed molds, dies, and machine parts that must not break under impact. You pay for that toughness with slightly lower [[glossary:haerte|hardness]] than the high-alloy grades.
