X23CrNi17

1.2787 (X23CrNi17) is a stainless [[glossary:warmarbeitsstahl|hot-work steel]] with 17 % [[element:Cr|chromium]] and [[element:Ni|nickel]]. It combines [[glossary:warmfestigkeit|corrosion]] resistance with hot strength. Applications: hot forming tools and molds that are also exposed to corrosive conditions, for example in plastics processing with aggressive media.
