100Cr6

The 1.3505 (100Cr6) is a bearing steel with almost 1 % [[element:C|carbon]]: extremely hard and wear-resistant for bearings and rollers. When welding, it immediately forms brittle [[glossary:martensit|martensite]]. Typical analysis: 1 % C, 1.5 % Cr, 0.35 % Mn, 0.25 % Si.
