X22CrMoV12-1

1.4937 (X22CrMoV12-1) is a heat-resistant 12% chromium steel with molybdenum and vanadium. You use it for highly stressed parts in turbine and valve construction that operate at high temperatures. When welding, you absolutely must preheat and perform a post-weld heat treatment, otherwise it will become brittle.
