1.7335

13CrMo4-5

The 1.7335 (13CrMo4-5) is a [[glossary:kriechen-warmfeste-staehle|creep]]-resistant CrMo steel: [[element:Mo|molybdenum]] and [[element:Cr|chromium]] give it [[glossary:warmfestigkeit|high-temperature strength]] and creep resistance up to over 500 °C — the material for steam lines and boiler parts. Typical analysis: 0.13 % C, 0.95 % Cr, 0.55 % Mn, 0.5 % Mo, 0.25 % Si. For higher [[glossary:verschleissschutz|wear protection]], three hard-facing options are available: S Fe 1 (martensitic, approx. 300–400 HB, machinable), S Fe 2 (wear-resistant and tough, approx. 50–55 HRC, conditionally machinable) and S Fe 15 ([[glossary:karbid|carbide]]-rich, approx. 55–65+ HRC, not machinable).
