P460NH

The 1.8915 (P460NH) is a pressure vessel steel: tough, easily weldable, and approved for internal pressure per DIN EN 10028. The "P" stands for Pressure, the number for [[glossary:streckgrenze|yield strength]]. Typical analysis: 0.14 % C, 0.65 % Cr, 1.2 % Mn, 0.3 % Ni, 0.35 % Si. For higher [[glossary:verschleissschutz|wear protection]], three hard-facing options are available: S Fe 1 (martensitic, approx. 300–400 HB, machinable), S Fe 2 (wear-resistant and tough, approx. 50–55 HRC, conditionally machinable) and S Fe 15 ([[glossary:karbid|carbide]]-rich, approx. 55–65+ HRC, not machinable).
