Ti6Al4V Grade 5

3.7165 (Ti6Al4V Grade 5) is [[element:Ti|titanium]]: as strong as some steels, but only half the weight, and practically rust-proof. When welding, it's uncompromising when it comes to cleanliness and [[glossary:schutzgas|shielding gas]]. Typical analysis: 0.04 % C, 4 % V.
