ASP 2023

ASP 2023

ASP 2023 is a [[glossary:pulvermetallurgie|powder metallurgy]] high-speed steel [[glossary:schnellarbeitsstahl|High-speed steel (HSS)]] (made by Erasteel). Thanks to powder metallurgy, the [[glossary:karbid|carbides]] are extremely fine and evenly distributed — higher [[glossary:zaehigkeit|toughness]] and better cutting edge stability than conventional HSS at the same [[glossary:haerte|hardness]]. Use: high-performance tools, dies, end mills for hard-to-machine materials.
